Custom Portrait Commissions
Thank you so much for your interest in a custom portrait.
I release a limited number of commission openings at a time to ensure each piece receives my full attention and care.
I'm currently accepting a small number of bookings beginning February 2026. Once these spots are filled, booking will close again until the next release.
Here's what to expect when you
commission a portrait:
Step 1: Share Your Pet
Answer a few short questions about your pet and upload one or more photos so that I can capture their unique features and markings.
Step 2: Choose Your Options
Select a budget range that feels comfortable and share your preferred size for the portrait.
Step 3: Personal Follow-Up
Once I receive your form, I'll personally reach out from my email, info@sarahmoulton.ca to chat about what I'm envisioning for your portrait and gather any extra details if needed.
Step 4: Payment & Progress
Only a 50% deposit is required to begin your commission. The remaining balance is billed once the portrait is finished. Payments can be made securely through my website checkout system, and Canadian clients also have the option to e-transfer.
Step 5: The Painting Process
Using professional acrylics, I hand-paint your portrait layer by layer, carefully building lifelike depth and texture. Your satisfaction is my number one goal - I'll work thoughtfully until every detail feels just right.
Step 6: Approval & Delivery
When your portrait is complete, I'll send you a photo for approval. Once approved, a final payment link will be sent, it will be sealed for protection, carefully packaged, and personally delivered by me or shipped.
