Hi, I'm Sarah!
I'm a Kingston-based artist specializing in realistic pet and wildlife portraits. My paintings are meant to celebrate our four-legged best friends - whether they're curled up at our feet today or living on in our favourite memories. Every piece I create is painted with the hope of capturing their unique personality and charm, and giving them a lasting place in our home.
Every pet portrait I create is hand-painted with the utmost care and attention to detail. These aren't quick sketches - they are highly detailed, realistic works of art designed to capture the true personality of your pet.
On average, each portrait takes 20-30 hours to complete. From carefully building up the underpainting to layering realistic fur textures and subtle highlights, I work slowly and intentionally to ensure every brushstroke contributes to a lifelike and lasting piece.
The time invested means that each finished portrait is not only a beautiful likeness, but also a one-of-a-kind piece that will be treasured for years to come.
